One, the similarities between the two.
1, the same structure. It consists of coils, magnets, commutators and brushes.
2, the components connected the same way. Each component is connected in series to form a circuit.
3, it is affected by the direction of the magnetic field. The direction of the current generated in the generator is related to the direction of the magnetic field; the direction of the force acting on the coil in the motor is related to the direction of the magnetic field.
Two, the difference between the two points.
1, the principle is different. The generator is made according to the electromagnetic induction phenomenon; the motor is made according to the force motion principle of the conducting conductor in the magnetic field.
2, different judgment methods. The direction of the current in the generator is judged by the right hand rule and the left hand rule is used in the direction of the motion of the conductor in the motor.
3, the purpose of work and energy conversion is different. The generator needs external work to transform mechanical energy into electric energy; the motor works outside and converts the electric energy into mechanical energy.
